Three Things...And Then Some

Every day I try  to make note of three things that make me happy to be a human being. Some days it's a bit difficult but most of the time I can spot WAY MORE than three things.
Here are Some Things that have been keeping me afloat:

Check out my Side Bar over There. Curtise is my designated match maker!!!!

Dolce and Gabbana's Spring 2014 Fashion Show.
I would wear absolutely EVERYTHING in this show, even the see-through things. Hear that D&G? Throw me a bone. Mi gettare un osso, per favore!

Watch it HERE
Turn up your sound. The music is very nice!
York Pieces. I am addicted!

I love the sad beautiful faces in these 1940's mug shots of women prisoners at the San Diego Police Headquarters Jail Museum.

Oh, poor little Jackie Todd. What went wrong to send you here with these guys?

 Things were tough in the 1940's. York Pieces hadn't yet been invented!
Check out more about this museum HERE and HERE on my friend Lori's awesome blog OBSERVATIONS.

And the Amazing Sacramento of Mis Papelicos listed me as one of her stylish friends.
That's like having Meryl Streep put you on her favorite actor list!
Thank you so much!!!

Don't Let The Sound Of Your Own Wheels Drive You Crazy

This one goes out to all you Baby Boomers.
Holla!!!
Remember when Guys used to look like this?

The Eagles
 Their Music was Big Part of the Soundtrack of my Western American Girlhood.

When I saw this knit print in the discount bin at the fabric store I suddenly got a
 I was transported back to the 1970's in a flashback and had the urge to slather on some Pot o' Gloss
click HERE for a positively witchy Pot o' Gloss Ad
And bake a Harvey Wallbanger Cake.
We actually ate this?? It was basically just a way to grab an illicit nip of vodka under the guise of "baking a cake."
So of course I had to make a 70's inspired maxi dress.
I chose this pattern:

Hey McCalls!! La Robe took Way More than 1 Heure to Make!

And I got this result:

Showing off my New Dress and my New Screen Door.
It's been unusually Hot here lately. We need a screen door in Winter!
Her mind is Tiffany twisted.
Dress made by Me
Knit wrap cardigan ~ J Jill about 4 years old
Chapeau ~ Nordstrom
Ballet flats ~ Born about 6 years old
  It still gets cold at night though.
Woo hoo witchy woman. She got the moon in her eyes.
Warm smell of colitis, rising up in the air.
So if you are Really and Truly a female Baby Boomer like Me, you are probably having a hot flash about now.
I'd like to offer you my favorite drink of the moment:

Iced Green Tea with Pomegranate Lemonade.
Ahhhhh....
You can check-out any time you like but you can never leave.
~~~~~~~~~
 What is on the Soundtrack of YOUR youth?????
P.S. Hanging out with, Patti, one of my favorite fellow Baby Boomers!
